problem statement

In waste management, several hundred large containers are loaned out every day, the locations of which are often no longer traceable. Disposal and recycling companies empty garbage containers at regular intervals in different cities and municipalities. This often happens regardless of the respective fill levels or the need to empty them.

solution

With our solution for smart cities and communities, it is possible to monitor the fill levels of containers of different sizes and track their position using GPS. Changes in position and fill level are transmitted wirelessly in real time. This allows collection routes to be optimized and the location data of the containers can be retrieved directly on a map.

benefits

Position tracking makes it possible to see which container is with which customer at any time. Equipping all containers with sensors enables unique identification and fill levels as well as location and location histories can be retrieved at the push of a button. By monitoring fill levels and location data, routes can be optimized, costs saved and container shrinkage reduced. Upgrading the containers is easy and cost-effective with minimal energy consumption (running time of up to 10 years).
